Paul is the Founder and President of Heritage Planners, where he has been guiding families and businesses since 1981 in the areas of estate and retirement planning, business succession, investments, life insurance, and asset protection. His approach centers on helping clients understand their current financial position, define future goals, and explore strategic paths to achieve those objectives.
Paul takes a deeply personal interest in each of his clients, always striving to see things from their perspective and craft customized solutions tailored to their unique needs. He collaborates with a trusted network of professionals—including attorneys, CPAs, and investment advisors—and offers a broad portfolio of products backed by the financial strength of New York Life. Through strategic alliances in both investment and planning, Paul delivers an exceptional service experience. He is licensed in 26 states and holds FINRA Series 22, 6, and 63 licenses.
A committed industry leader, Paul is an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has achieved the prestigious Court of the Table and Top of the Table honors. For over 30 years, he has been recognized as a Chairman’s Council** Member of New York Life, an achievement awarded to the top 3% of agents company-wide, based on sales performance. Paul is also a longstanding recipient of NAIFA’s National Quality Award.
Paul studied at the University of Toledo and graduated from The American College in 1994, where he earned the professional designations of CLU®, ChFC®, and AEP®. He is happily married to his wife, Ruth, and has three children—Mark, Timothy, and Jennifer—and two beloved grandchildren. Outside of work, Paul enjoys racing cars and motorcycles, building hot rods, hunting, fishing, working outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Timothy J. Haye, after graduating with a double major in marketing and finance from the University of Toledo, pursued his graduate degree with a focus in investment management while working full-time. Tim obtained his MBA in 2011 from the University of Toledo. From there Tim went onto Northwestern University where he obtained his CFP.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Tim started his career with a small franchisee of Jimmy Johns where he was a Director of Operations. Seeking more, Tim took an opportunity with Aldi Inc, an international grocer, where he was a Director of Operations. In 2016, Tim left his executive position at Aldi and opened a financial planning office for Heritage Planners in Chicago with the goal of carrying on his father’s legacy in the business.
Tim’s arm of Heritage Planners has expanded significantly and continues to grow with the help of great people and the support of his father.
Tim, when he is not working, loves spending time with his son Isaac, his wife Tara and family. He enjoys reading, racing and working out. His passion lies 100% in taking what his father built from the ground up with Heritage Planners and ensuring it lives past not just his father but himself, as well.
Coming to Heritage Planners, Louis focuses on helping families and business owners with estate and retirement planning, investments, and asset allocation. His goal is to simplify complex decisions by clarifying concerns, outlining objectives, and providing clear, personalized financial strategies.
Louis holds Series 6, 7, and 66 licenses and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Louis earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tiffin University. He lives in Northwood, Ohio with his wife, Robin, and their two children, Jackson and Lyla. As a city council president, he values community service and integrity in leadership. Guided by his Christian faith, Louis approaches financial planning as a form of stewardship—helping clients make wise, purpose-driven decisions that honor their values and protect their legacy.
Outside of work, Louis enjoys family trips, attending Michigan football games, playing competitive amateur golf, and making the most of time with his family.
Ruth Haye brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry to the Heritage Planners team. Prior to joining Heritage Planners, she served as a Service Professional Leader at New York Life, where she was responsible for administrative operations, special projects, and the development of service staff with a strong client-focused mindset.
Ruth holds several respected industry designations, including FLMI (Fellow of the Life Management Institute), CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter), and PCS (Professional Customer Service). She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Muskingum University.
Known for her dedication to service excellence, Ruth is committed to creating outstanding experiences for Heritage Planners’ clients. Outside of work, she enjoys working on residential projects in Perrysburg with her husband, Paul, as well as spending time with family, traveling, listening to music, and enjoying the outdoors.
Adelaide brings over 20 years of experience in the financial planning industry. As a dedicated paraplanner, she supports Louis Fahrbach by assisting in the drafting of financial proposals and managing client investment accounts. Adelaide is also responsible for client account setup and transfers, and she plays a key role in addressing client inquiries and providing account-related services.
She particularly enjoys being involved in the financial planning process and takes pride in helping clients work toward their financial goals.
Adelaide earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation from the College for Financial Planning®—a Kaplan Company in 2003 and has successfully maintained her certification ever since.
Originally from France, Adelaide moved to the U.S. in 1989 and is fluent in both French and English. She is a proud mother to her son, Eric, and in her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, traveling, cooking, and dancing.
Autumn is the Executive Assistant here at Heritage Planners and has been with the team since February of 2021. She is responsible for keeping client information up to date, to ensure their financial objectives can be reached effectively. Autumn enjoys the variety of different tasks and projects that allow her to utilize her degree in Finance.
Prior to joining Heritage Planners, Autumn attended The University of Toledo, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new parks with her husband Tyler and their three children.
Christine joined Heritage Planners in 2017 and leads the firm's marketing initiatives. She focuses on enhancing Paul Haye’s social media presence and ensures that all marketing materials and profiles meet corporate compliance standards. In addition to her marketing responsibilities, Christine also supports client services as needed. She values the variety of her role and takes pride in helping to resolve challenges efficiently.
Outside of work, Christine volunteers as a mentor with Imerman Angels and supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). She enjoys camping and hiking with her family and loves cheering on her two daughters in their travel softball and basketball events.
Executive Assistant
Grace provides dedicated support to Louis Fahrbach and his clients, with a focus on life insurance policies, meeting coordination, and managing the main office phone. She plays a key role in guiding clients through necessary paperwork, gathering important data, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
She strives to make each step as smooth and stress-free as possible, addressing questions and concerns with care and attention. Her highest priority is delivering excellent client service and fostering strong, trusting relationships.
Nathan, after a successful athletic and academic career for the Whiteford Bobcats, is taking his work ethic and strong family background into the financial services business. He is a valued employee and is furthering his knowledge and training by pursuing financial licenses and related degrees. Nate enjoys time with friends, family, the outdoors and pursuing his passions for running his own business someday.
Victoria has been a valued member of the Heritage Planners team since 2022. In her role as Client Services Administrator, she is responsible for maintaining accurate client records, managing a variety of service requests, and assisting with preparation for weekly appointments. Victoria enjoys the dynamic nature of her position, appreciating the opportunity to learn something new every day while actively contributing to clients' progress toward their financial goals.
A proud United States Air Force veteran, Victoria served as a paralegal and brings a strong background in discipline, organization, and attention to detail. In addition to her military experience, she offers over seven years of customer service expertise, which enhances her ability to connect with clients and support their needs effectively.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys camping with her husband and their two dogs, relaxing at home with her three cats, watching reality TV, and challenging herself with crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
With more than ten years of experience in the Financial Planning Industry and a dedication to growth and success, Lauren assists with all aspects of maintaining client accounts including new applications, transferring accounts, distributions, contributions and assisting with any questions you might have. She has been with Heritage Planners since 2016 and has continued to expand her knowledge and licensing in the Insurance Industry.
Lauren was born and raised in Maumee, OH and graduated from Springfield High School. She attended Bowling Green State University where she found her passion for the business.
When Lauren is not in the office, you can find her teaching dance at a local studio, cheering on her 5 children at all sporting events or sitting around a campfire with her husband Jeff and dog Dolly at their campground.
